
Energy Analyst / Ember
Bahadır is an energy analyst at Ember, where he focuses on accelerating the green transition of the Turkish energy sector. His work involves data-driven analysis and strategic policy recommendation to support the country’s shift away from fossil fuels toward a renewable-powered grid. He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Energy Systems Engineering from Yalova University, where he developed a strong foundation in thermodynamics, energy modeling, sustainability, and systems optimization. Prior to his current role, Bahadır served for more than eight years at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye under the department of energy efficiency, where he was actively involved in national energy planning, policy formulation, and coordination of international energy cooperation efforts. His public sector experience provided him with deep insights into Türkiye’s institutional and regulatory landscape, and strengthened his ability to navigate complex policy environments.
